i don't remember any upside down labels.
i remember when oceania closed down but you could still sneak onto it.
i remember we ate at wo fat once in a while. that place seemed really big when i was a kid.
i remember eating at woolworth quite a bit. they had great fried chicken. there was an old lady waitress in the kahala restaurant that was so rude that it was comical. she would literally toss your plates onto the table and was super bitchy.
Youngling, that was before you were born, in the early 70's.
All restaurants were owned by Spencliff.
And you used to watch Captain Honolulu in the mornings.
Or Flamingo. It was the Weavers vs. The Nagamines.
And still had the horse kicking the wall!!!
