Anyone know why in the United States there don't seem to be drinking songs, whereas in Europe and the UK people go to pubs and sing along to tunes? I wonder what went wrong in the US to not have drinking songs. I know in Germany, many go to pubs and drink beer and sing along to songs. I wonder why the US doesn't have anything like that.

Hmmm maybe Karaoke...do they have Karaoke in Europe?

But I have seen people singing in bars here...it just doesn't sound like it....more like someone spanking a cat!

We have drinking songs. We can turn any song into a drinking song. Back in the day, One more night by Phil Collins was a drinking song. Anytime "One more night" was sung, you take a swig. However, Americans prefer drinking games to drinking songs. ;)

Whiskey in the jar is a drinking song. Of course the version by Thin Lizzy sounds better than the one by Metallica.

Well I got my pump back on, secondary chains and sprockets, primary chain, new seals for the cam phasers, and all locked down. Scraped and cleaned the timing cover and block mating surface. Just gotta lay the sealer and bolt the cover back on later...

Gotta rest my back now....yikes! Don't get old!

Is there anyone who is LP on here? One thing i have noticed is that at stores like Macy's,i have seen people shoplift stuff, but i never seem to see the store employee or security go after the thief. I wonder if the employee's or security see the people doing the stuff.

They see it, then meet up with the perp later that evening to get their cut of the loot.

From what I get from the LP's in the past...the big store chains are more concerned about how much they sell and not too much on what they lose through theft.

They might only have LP's to meet insurance purposes.

We get a lot of video surveillance from them though and you'd be surprised at how many are identified. Can't keep a good crumb down!
