    Trying to make a nice dinner every Sunday for myself.

    Watermelon, Mint, Feta.

    Scallops, Sweet Corn, Risotto

    Taking suggestions for next week. Farmer's market has some really good stuff right about now. Lots of peppers, new potatoes, squash blossom, beets

    I have a quiz next Monday morning at 8am though so it can't be a meal that's too labor-intensive (so no pasta this week)

    It's still summer, you should grill some Vietnamese pork chops! That salad looks great, but I can't handle feta and blue cheese. Both make me gag. I like a spring mix with watermelon, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries.

    I had (broiled) pork chops marinated Vietnamese-style all week last week lol. One of my go-to meal prep proteins.

    Trying to do something more fine-dining and composed/complete for Sunday dinners though. Creative outlet for me now that I no longer cook professionally, but still want to hone my skills.

    Right now I'm thinking lamb chops, roasted fingerling potatoes and green beans, cherry/port reduction for next Sunday.

    haha ya definitely. Costco here usually sells it on weekends but they haven't had it for a few weeks.

    Pork Picnic Shoulder on sale. Close to 10lbs. 5 hours on the PBC, then 1.5 hours wrapped.




    I need to find a place that makes good cole slaw. Whole Foods cole slaw fukking blows

    Light sprinkle of brown sugar when I wrapped it. Saved the juices from the foil and reduced it down with some Blue's Hog BBQ sauce.


    Second dinner. Mango-Cherry Tomato "salad"


    Any suggestions for next week's dinner?
