import law is had to be at least 25 yrs old into usa..

the canada is 15 yrs import law.

 

Some people wanted to beat the rush and bought cars and shipped them into Canada. Stored them until the 25 years hit, then brought over the border. Wasn't it 25 years from production date?

i remember on the craigslist skyline gtr r33 was imported from canada shipped oahu. Then dmv wont let register. gtr has wait for 25 yrs.

 

If you have time, maybe go to the DMV office in Kaimuki. They would be the definitive authority for Oahu.

 

Would it be cheaper to get a 93 Supra imported than buying one already in the US?
